It all started with a "Dream".
When Shane & Samantha first met, it was a dream come true for both of them. They both owned horses, Samantha, from a Dressage background and Shane from a Western background, they both learnt about each other's disciplines and many new things together. Samantha was the Office Manager at Droughtmaster Australia at the time of meeting Shane.
After being dragged to many Droughtmaster events and functions while Samantha was working, Shane decided that they were going to start breeding Droughtmaster Cattle. With the assistance of Paul & Lisa Laycock High Country Droughtmasters, Stephen Pickering RSVP & Sylvan Springs, Justin Bowman Bowman Park, Andrew Percy Cribrum Droughtmasters, Noel Boughen Normanton Park. Shane started his "Wildest Dream".
His pride & joy High Country Fudge was his first heifer purchased at auction, who today is still his favourite.
Shane & Samantha purchased a small 40-acre property in Mt Tarampa moving the horses and the cattle home with them in 2017. A few weeks later held a surprise wedding and were married on the property.
6 years later the stud has grown from 3 little heifers to a herd of 20.
A dream that was not possible without the help of our friends & family.
